Description
Well I have recently launched into digital art and have been really enjoying in aided by some wonderful youtube tutorials of which you can see here on my favorites......http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=ultramurals
so to this painting, originally I think I found this idea in a wonderful book on tropical frogs.. I did a sketch in my sketchbook and then took a photo of that which I stumbled across in my external hard drive... so grabbed it and have put way more time into this than ever before on my laptop.. very very pleased with the outcome and I hope you like it......
and it seems the frog is a lot less frog king than I had originally seen... in fact its lying in the gaping jaws of a pitcher plant which lures its prey with nectar and then once inside the walls of the plant are extremely slippery and the liquid in the bottom of the plant digests the animal..... from one extreme to the other king to victim all change..... thanks purple rose for pointing that out!
