Description
This painting is done on canvas with acrylic paints....I created it at the beginning of the year in Goa India after driving there from the UK.... see www.goodkarmadrive.org for pics and vids of the adventure.
So after spending weeks on the road and limited painting time arrived in Goa HUNGRY TO PAINT and this was the result part of a large series of images called Gods and Godesses which I plan to complete in the coming year....
I have done the tiniest touch ups on photoshop but most of the work done with acrylic paint on a canvas standing about 120cm by about 40cm... and took three days or about 12 hours to complete....
I wanted the image to be serious expression like a mother earth slightly concerned with her children's behavior and to be really rich in autumn colours...
one of my favorite parts of the painting is the falling leaves around the hair which look a little like fire
summer has also been done and I will post that soon....
Hope you like it.....

Would darken the shadows and some of the mid-tones to give it more depth.
Would also work more on facial anatomy: eyes, bone structure for future work.
